Journal Entry... Johann Strauss's "The Blue Danube" composition was my piano recital piece in grade school. More than a recital piece, the Blue Danube had a ring of mystery to it. 

21-feb: At Danube river... Knowing the Danube river flowed in Vienna, I made sure to see it on my first time visit. Hubby and I took the Metro to the Donaustadt stop on a bridge. Right under the bridge the (main) Danube river flows.

This one is called, the "Little Danube"

There the river Danube became a clear image merging with my piano recital piece, like a symphony in my head... The Blue Danube started to play in my ears.
